How to Install Softaculous on cPanel

Softaculous can make installing popular web software a snap for yourself or for your users.

You must have root access to your server to be able to install this

Log in to SSH on your server as root.

Run the following commands: 

wget -N http://files.softaculous.com/install.sh
chmod 755 install.sh
./install.sh

The installer will run automatically and will let you know once it has been completed.

Once the installer has finished, log into WHM and verify that Ioncube is enabled under Tweak Settings. If you need to do any further configuration for Softaculous, you can do this in WHM under Plugins > Softaculous
